A focused European regulatory track for legal and compliance professionals — clear, practical insight into MiCA, digital asset licensing, and the governance of tokenised finance across Europe and the UK. Curated by Maryland Blockchain Association in collaboration with the DARA European Task Force. Summer Conference 2026.
The CLE Europe track is hosted by the Maryland Blockchain Association as part of its Summer Conference and Blockchain Bootcamp, with content curated in collaboration with the DARA European Task Force. Sessions provide legal and compliance professionals with clear, practical insight into MiCA, digital asset licensing, and the governance of tokenised finance across Europe and the UK.
Sessions are delivered in English at the in-person programme in Maryland. Spanish-language delivery is available on request for the Spanish-speaking legal and compliance community — either through online registration or through dedicated in-person sessions arranged with the Task Force.
The European regulatory curriculum runs as three core classes, delivered in English with parallel Spanish-language sessions. All sessions are instructed by Enrique Aznar, MA, and curated with the DARA European Task Force.
The Blockchain Legal Institute and Maryland Blockchain Association co-host the CLE Europe track as part of the Summer Conference and Blockchain Bootcamp. Curriculum, faculty, and content are curated in collaboration with the DARA European Task Force. MBA is the host and CLE-certifying body; DARA contributes the European regulatory curriculum and faculty.
The DARA European Task Force extends the Digital Asset Regulatory Authority’s self-regulatory framework into Europe, supporting digital asset firms navigating MiCA and CASP requirements while aligning with US regulatory expectations.
It provides a structured platform for cross-border policy dialogue, practical guidance on compliance and governance, and access to a network of professionals operating across both jurisdictions — supporting European firms expanding into the US and US firms seeking clarity on European authorisation pathways, including CASP licensing, the EU DLT Pilot Regime, and national sandbox programmes.

MDBA provides certificates for educational purposes. Every state is a snowflake — please verify your specific bar’s rules for self-reporting, out-of-state tech credits, and your state’s CE rules.
While we provide the proof, we don’t guarantee that every state bar will grant credit. (But we’ve designed the sessions to meet the highest standard of legal-tech education.)
In the event of any cancellation, no refunds shall be provided. All ticket sales are final, and the conference agenda is subject to change based on professional availability.
