Keith Lawhorn is Chief Information Security Officer of the Wyoming Stable Token Commission, where he leads the architecture of a sovereign U.S. stablecoin — covering smart-contract design, AML/KYC automation, key management, and cross-chain interoperability across an eight-chain deployment. Before stepping into the CISO role, Keith spent more than a decade as software architect on a multi-agency federal intelligence program countering trade-based money laundering and sanctions evasion for CBP, HSI, DHS, JIATF, the U.S. Coast Guard, and Five Eyes partners. His earlier career includes senior consulting at Microsoft (DHS, DOJ, ICE, CBP), commercial banking platform work for SunTrust, and the Federal Reserve Bank’s first PKI initiative. Keith holds the CISSP, Certified Cryptocurrency Investigator (CCI), and Certified Blockchain Developer (CBD) credentials, and is a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute.
