Equity Platforms is the creator of EquityCoin®, the first digital token on the blockchain backed by affordable housing, and the architect behind EquityShare™, a community-driven capital raising portal built to empower both real estate developers and hyperlocal stakeholders to build thriving neighborhoods.
Since 2005, Vernon has dedicated his life to community-building through multifamily acquisitions and asset management, facilitating over $180 million in real estate transactions nationwide. His mission is rooted in creating economic opportunities in underserved communities through a blend of innovation, advocacy, and action.
With over 19 years in multifamily real estate, eight years of immersive blockchain leadership, and experience traveling across six continents, Vernon brings a global perspective to local impact. His goal is to use Equity Platforms as a vehicle to inject $1 billion into historically overlooked communities through affordable housing and tech-powered investment tools.
Vernon graduated from Northfield Mount Hermon, one of the nation’s top-ranked prep schools, and attended Seton Hall University, majoring in finance.
